Materials include notes were written by C.R. Long on vegetation of Baker Island and summary of notes from Peter Marshall for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program. Long's organized by plant family, followed by name with physical description, collector, number, and hypothesis and time and nature of plant introduction to island. Includes a bibliography. Marshall's note summary is a list of collected plants with number, descriptions and sometimes common name.
