Abstract

This field book contains notes on the paleontological specimen and geology of Devonian New Mexico taken between 16 September and 9 October 1956. Cooper describes stratigraphy of each location visited and notes the fossils found at each level. He also includes descriptions of the shale. Brachiopoda, Bryozoa, and other fossil specimens are noted. Page numbers for these field notes are 09-33. Also includes index of localities. Locations include Mud Spring Mountain, San Andres Canyon, Pig Canyon, Johnson Park Canyon, Derry, Alamo Canyon, and other locations.
