Abstract

This item contains slides of Cooper's field work with Dr. Reuben Ross in Nevada and Utah, September 1965. Orthidiella (brachiopod) bed and reef in Orthidiella bed depicted. From accompanying note: "Slides made in a study of Ordovicion rocks...Devils Gate on US 50 west of Eureka, Ikes Canyon, Caesar Canyon, and Martins Ridge in east side of Toquima Range. 9-mile Canyon in Monitor Range, east side of Antelope Valley facing Toquima Range. Great Ordovician Reef east of Beatty in SW Nevada opposite Death Valley." Also included Devonian range east of Delta, Utah near Logan, Utah.
