Abstract

This item contains negatives and prints of photographs Cooper took during his travel and field work in Sonora, Mexico. Photographs and negatives are undated, but probably circa middle 1940s. Images depict areas where paleontological and geological specimen were found. Coral, solidified cores of algae, algae, and algea beds are depicted as is the location of brachiopod specimen. Cambrian, Devonian, and late Cretaceous periods are represented.
