Abstract

This album of black and white photographs documents specimen observed or collected during the field research of Nelson and Goldman in lower California approximately between 1905 and 1906. Plants (especially cacti), birds, and mammals (namely a fox in the genus Vulpes) are represented in these photographs. Locations where photographs were taken include, but are not limited to the Colorado River (in Baja California), Cocopah Mountains, San Pedro Mártir Mountains, Cataviña, El potrero, La Paz, San José del Cabo
