Abstract

The field book was created for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program Southern Island Cruise 18, March 30 - April 3, 1967. The field book by R. Tuxson relates to bird banding return data collected on Malden and Starbuck Island (listing band numbers 587-84601 to 923-36200). Band return data listed by date and type of bird (some include additional data listed in abbreviations); an island survey; data table recording catalog number, species, sex, age, nesting status, and band number; blood sample data; and text describing a description of Starbuck.
