Notes are a narrative description of bird, plant, and mammal specimen observed and collected interspersed with specimen lists from locations visited. Locations include City of Mexico, Chicapa (Oaxaca), Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Comitán (Chiapas), Tiopisca (Chiapas), Patzenaro, and other locations. Goldman keeps a very detailed record of travel, route, and locations visited and also comments on which specimen are common, altitude of localities, weather, and other observations in these notes. Specimen numbers for mammals range from 16564-16727; bird specimen numbers range from 10355-11016; plant specimen numbers range from 720-1007. Specimen numbers are not consecutively listed.
