Abstract

Volume 67 are the journal and species accounts of Phillip C. Shelton completed for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program, in Sand-Johnston, February 2 - September 23, 1967. This is a typed copy of the original journal. Dated entries describe weather; daily work sometimes with time of day; descriptions of characteristics and behaviors of individual and groups of shore and pelagic birds, their nests and eggs with references to band numbers headed with type of bird; references to FIC staff; and bird counts with reference island locations (i.e. guywire). Format of data tables for counts is same as Shelton's other journal for POBSP. Includes maps with notes. Includes locations on Oahu, and North Island [Akau].
