Notes are a narrative description of mammal and bird specimen observed and collected interspersed with specimen lists from each location. Flora of various locations is also described. Locations include Guadalajara, La Barca, Tulancingo, Tepesala (Tepezala), Papantla, Alta Maria, Valparaiso Mountains, Huauchinango, Metlaltoyuca, and other locations. Notes also comment on which specimen are common, altitude of localities, weather, the route taken during the trip, and other observations. Specimen numbers for mammals range from 11772-12200; specimen numbers for birds range from 4940-5257. Specimen numbers are not consecutively listed.
