Abstract

The field book was created for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program Southern Island Cruise 18, March 22-23, 1967. The field book by R. Chandler and P. Kriesel relates to bird banding return data collected on Christmas Island [Kiritimati] (listing band numbers 564-00801 to 645-23500). Band returns are headed with date, and include information about type of bird, age, nesting status, and number of eggs. Also includes band return data for Phoenix Island [Rawaki] recorded by R. Delong as a loose insert.
