Abstract

Alexander Wetmore records observations of birds in the vicinity of North Freedom Wisconsin, January to April 1900. The notebook is arranged by date, with journal style entries. Pages are numbered. He includes a range of observations of birds, their appearance and actions, and locations, birdsongs, and weather. He discusses some efforts to attract birds for observations, as well as some personal details.
