Abstract

The field book was created for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program Southern Island Cruise 18, March 15-18, 1967. The field book by Frank Smith relates to bird banding return data collected on Palmyra Atoll (listing band numbers 863-83501 to 863-99500). Includes data and bird counts of Sooty Terns on eggs; Boobies; tables of information on birds including quantity of eggs, chicks and their sizes; and additional observational notes on causeway.
