Abstract

The field book was created for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program Southern Island Cruise 17, February 19, 1967. The field book by Frank Smith relates to bird banding return data collected on Baker Island (listing band numbers 587-83801 to 923-27600). Includes activity account (types and quantities of birds (adult and chick), eggs, and nests), data on presence of rodents, locations of bird populations, and shorebird count. Beginning has notes from travel completed in 1966.
