The field book was created for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program Southern Island Cruise 17, February 17-18, 1967. The field book by R. Tuxson relates to bird banding return data collected on Howland Island (listing band numbers 863-93001 to 923-99001). Banding was used on Sooty Terns. Returns are organized by date and include notes.
