Abstract

This field book contains notes on birds observed in Florida and nesting on several Florida Keys from 1-3 April 1918. A count and sometimes addition observations are noted. Examples of birds Nelson observed and locations include pelicans observed at Pelican Island Resort in Sebastian Florida and on an adjacent island to east, pelicans on Kayatona Island, white ibis on Middle key, and brown pelicans on Bird Island. Nelson also includes notes on vegetation and ducks of Upper St. Johns and along the Banana River.
