Nelson travels from San Juan Guichicovi to La Trinidad, describing his route, and the agriculture and vegetation of localities visited. Crops frequently mentioned included coffee and sugar cane. Nelson also includes elevations of these localities. Locations include but are not limited to Guichicovi, Tonala, Ocozocoautla, Tecpactan, Teuejapa, and La Trinidad. Sketch of a tree is included. Some notes on observations about social customs and the towns he visits are included.
