Abstract

This field book documents Nelson's travels and field work in Mexico between 1 January and 8 March 1895. Nelson's daily, narrative notes describe the course and events of his travels. Most of these notes describe social observations. Nelson also includes notes about agriculture (coffee plantations) and the vegetation of locations he visits. Nelson also includes notes about an earthquake occurring in November 1894. Locations include but are not limited Acapulco, Rio Verde, Panixltahuaca, Juguila, Pochutla trees.
