Abstract

The field book was created for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program Southern Island Cruise 17, January 24-28, 1967. The field book by Phil Kriesel relates to bird banding return data collected on Enderbury Atoll and Phoenix Island [Rawaki] (listing band numbers 893-60901 to 893-61500). Includes counts of birds, eggs, and nests of shorebirds, a hand drawn map of landmarks, colonies, and observer locations on Phoenix Island with shaded areas demonstrating population densities.
