Abstract

This notebook contains notes on birds and other animals in Arizona between 23 August and 27 September 1911. Two lists of birds observed are included: 1) birds observed at Saint Johns, Aug. 24-27; 2) birds observed from near Fish Creek to Roosevelt, AZ, Sept. 27. Other notes in the notebook are crossed out. These notes are organized under headings containing date, name of a person, and location (example: Aug. 23/11, St. John, Richard Gibbons). The notes document sightings of animals, mainly antelope, but also others, for example, beavers, turkeys, and bears by each person listed.
