Abstract

Color slides document work completed by Waldo L. Schmitt during the Smithsonian-Bredin Caribbean Expedition, 1959. Slides are labeled with number, date, location and sometimes description. Names are usually included for Individuals pictured. Subject matter includes streets and structures in towns on islands; vistas and detail images of vegetation and terrain; beaches, reefs, and other examples of coastlines; caves; sailing vessels; and maps. Locations include the vicinity of Tobago, Dominica, Antigua, and Barbuda.
