Abstract

Typed field notes by Harry Pederson document work completed with Waldo L. Schmitt in the Bahamas on marine life found in reefs during 1961. Details daily activities during the collecting trip, working conditions, participants, types of film used, conditions of coral reefs due to local building activities, interactions between participants and local inhabitants, types of marine life observed (sometimes over a series of days), methods used to film, weather, and details about a flying gurnard, shark, and jawfish (among others)collected for filming.
