Abstract

Notebook and station data documents collecting completed during the Palmer Peninsula (Antarctica) Survey, 1962-1963. The notebook includes descriptions of specimens and accompanying flora and fauna observed in dredging results, manner of collection, and depth, with corresponding to station numbers. Additionally, Waldo Schmitt lists types of grass, algae and other flora collected from beaches visited. Typed report includes station numbers, locations identified by latitude and longitude position, quantity of specimens and preliminary identifications. Includes locations near Anvers Island, Argentine Island, Paradise Harbor, Gamma Island, Discovery Bay, and Wiencke Island among others.
