Abstract

Charles D. Walcott and Charles Elmer Resser record observations of geologic sites across Montana and Glacier Park in Canada, between 1895 and 1929. Includes notes on Glacier Park in Canada by Ray S. Bassler. Notes are handwritten and are usually titled with location and date. Several of the notes are housed in archival envelopes. Notes include details and characteristics of Cambrian strata, fossils found, and Algonkian limestone, sketches, and descriptions of sections. Sites observed were in the vicinity of: Le Beau Creek; Glacier National Park; North Fork Blackfoot River; and Skalkaho Pass.
