Abstract

The map document the work completed by Waldo Schmitt during the Smithsonian-Bredin Caribbean Expedition, 1960 [Smithsonian-Bredin Expedition to Yucatan (1960)]. Maps are copies of those from British Survey of 1839. Note on one states that it has small corrections taken from "notices to mariners" through November 1951. There are notes on some maps. Includes locations Ascension Bay [Bahía de la Ascensión] and Cozumel Island.
