Abstract

The expense accounts and receipts document the work of Waldo Schmitt during the Smithsonian-Bredin Caribbean Expedition, 1959. Includes a hand written itemized account of expenses listed chronologically. These includes transportation costs, meals and groceries, supplies, destinations (sometimes indicating specific locations on islands), and specimens purchased (sometimes indicating location of origin). Locations in the Caribbean include the vicinity of Trinidad, Tobago, Martinique, Barbuda, Antigua, and Indian River in Dominica.
