Abstract

This record refers to 3 field books created for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program Southern Island Cruise 15, in 1966. Envelope 1 contains a field book by an unknown author that consists of ectoparasite data including ticks collected on Enderbury Island. The field book lists ectoparasite numbers ES15-76 to ES1588. Envelope 2 contains a field book by Frank Smith from work conducted on Hull Island. The field book includes shorebird counts and turtle nest counts. Envelope 3 contains a field book by F. C. Thompson from work conducted on Hull Island (Orona), Enderbury Island, Phoenix Island (Rawaki), and Birnie Island. The field book includes ectoparasite data; shorebird counts; and Berlese sample data.
