Abstract

This record refers to 3 field books created for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program Southern Island Cruise 15, in 1966 on Enderbury Island. Envelope 1 contains a field book by F. C. Thompson that includes nest counts and bird banding data (listing band numbers 777-51849 to 777-51900). Envelope 2 contains a field book by R. W. Tuxson that includes nest counts; shorebird counts; bird banding and returns data (listing band numbers 615-11309 to 797-25010); and a plant list. Envelope 3 contains a field book by Paul W. Woodward that includes bird banding data (listing band numbers 558-85702 to 777-52000); and bird nest descriptions including materials and dimensions.
