PrintThis field book contains field notes on birds taken from 8 January to 23 March 1982. Notes contain daily lists of various birds spotted in Virginia. Most of the birds listed were observed at Eike's home on 6207 Newman Road, Fairfax or in the surrounding area. Crows along Colchester Road near Braddock Road and gulls along Clifton Road are also included. Birds sighted in other locations may also be included. Notes often include weather and temperature information, quantity, sometimes time spotted, and the sex of the birds. Legend on the verso of the cover: triangle -- bird seen in triangle; "s" – singing; “c” – calling; “L” – local.
