Abstract

This record refers to 3 field books created for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program Southern Island Cruise 15, in 1966. Envelope 1 contains a field book by Paul W. Woodward from work conducted on Howland Island. The field book includes bird banding data (listing band numbers 558-85008 to 843-38340); and nest counts. Envelope 2 contains a field book by F. C. Thompson that includes data and field notes on ectoparasites collected on Howland Island. Envelope 3 contains a field book by Walter Bulmer that includes nest counts; shorebird counts; and species accounts from Enderbury Island.
