Abstract

This record refers to 3 field books created for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program Southern Island Cruise 15, in 1966 on Howland Island. Envelope 1 contains a field book by R. S. Heiden that includes bird banding and returns data (listing band numbers 558-85014 to 863-51100); and a sera list with catalog numbers (502-601), species, sex, age, color phase, nesting status, and band numbers (558-85014 to 863-51049). Envelope 2 contains a field book by D. I. Hoff that includes bird banding data; and a sera list with catalog numbers (402-501), species, sex, age, color phase, nesting status, and band numbers (587-83273 to 777-57444). Envelope 3 contains a field book by L. N. Huber that includes bird banding data (listing band numbers 558-85056 to 757-65154).
