Abstract

This record refers to 3 field books created for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program Southern Island Cruise 14, in 1966 on McKean Island. Envelope 1 contains a field book by Kenneth C. Balcomb that includes nest counts and shorebird counts. Envelope 2 contains a field book by Walter Bulmer that includes bird band numbers (listing band numbers 652-46659 to 953-34200); shorebird counts; and observations of Audubon's shearwaters. Envelope 3 contains a field book by Richard D. Chandler that includes nest counts; nest calculations; and bird banding and returns data (listing band numbers 625-85581 to 863-49901).
