Abstract

This record refers to 3 field books created for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program Southern Island Cruise 13, in 1966. Envelope 1 contains a field book by Frank Smith from work conducted on Baker Island. The field book includes nest counts; observations of pelagic bird activity; and shorebird counts. Envelope 2 contains a field book by Richard S. Crossin from work conducted on Palymyra Atoll. The field book includes travel notes; pelagic bird observations; weather notes; and bird banding and returns data (listing band numbers 747-67525 to 863-82500). Envelope 3 contains a field book by B.
