Abstract

This field book contains field notes on birds taken from 8 October 1975 to 12 February 1976. Notes contain lists of various birds spotted in Virginia. Most of the birds listed were observed at Eike's home on 6207 Newman Road, Fairfax or in the surrounding area. Birds observed on the Manassas campus of North Virginia Community College are are also included. Other locations may be included. Notes occasionally include weather and temperature information, quantity, time spotted, and the sex of the birds. Occasionally rising and setting times for the sun are noted. Two clippings are inserted: a clipping on the weather inserted at 11-6-75 and a clipping entitled “98 birds counted at white house” dated 12-21-75.
