Abstract

Charles D. Walcott records observations of sites across the Canadian Rocky Mountains in British Columbia, Canada from 1880 to 1925. Most sets of notes are several handwritten pages, generally separated into acid free envelopes. Details include extensive descriptions of sites, descriptions of sections, characteristics of stone, sketches, fauna, and fossils found. Formations observed include: Chazy, Potsdam, Ptarmigan, and Sinclair. Locations include the vicinity of: Mt. Whyte, Mt. Odaray, Cabin Mountain, and Vermillion Pass.
