Abstract

This record refers to 3 field books created for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program Southern Island Cruise 10, in 1965 on Howland Island. Envelope 1 contains a field book by Richard L. Maze that includes nest counts; survey of birds and cats; Berlese sample list; and banding, returns, and blood sample data (listing band numbers 587-82810 to 757-65371). Envelope 2 contains a field book by Robert L. DeLong that includes shorebird counts. Envelope 3 contains a field book by Dayle N. Husted that includes bird counts; mouse and rat counts; and a few brief observations of birds.
