Abstract

This record refers to 3 field books created for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program Southern Island Cruise 9, in 1965. Envelope 1 contains a field book by J. P. Tordoff that includes nest counts; and banding and returns data (listing band numbers 727-87714 to 777-55701) from Enderbury Island. Envelope 2 contains a field book by Paul W. Woodward that includes nest counts and banding data (listing band numbers 642-02359 to 777-57064) from Enderbury Island. Envelope 3 contains a field book by Kenneth E. Amerman that includes notes on the observation, banding, and collecting of pelagic birds on Christmas Island; notes on travel and experiences on Christmas Island; and banding data (listing band numbers 587-83643 to 853-70101).
