Abstract

This record refers to 3 field books created for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program Southern Island Cruise 9, in 1965 on Phoenix Island (Rawaki). Envelope 1 contains a field book by Warren B. King that includes an island census and a brief plant list. Envelope 2 contains a field book by J. P. Tordoff that includes a nest count. Envelope 3 contains a field book by Paul W. Woodward that includes bird banding and returns data (listing band numbers 524-12001 to 893-45100); nest counts; and a map of Lesser frigate nests.
