Abstract

This record refers to 3 field books created for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program Southern Island Cruise 9, in 1965. Envelope 1 contains a field book by Paul W. Woodward from his work on Hull Island (Orona). The field book includes banding data (listing band numbers 753-51551 to 893-63888); and a list of molt data observations for Sooty terns. Envelope 2 contains a field book by Kenneth E. Amerman from his work on Phoenix Island (Rawaki). The field book includes bird banding data (listing band numbers 544-12930 to 893-46700)and nest counts. Envelope 3 contains a field book by Robert R. Fleet that includes nest counts and general notes from work conducted on Phoenix Island (Rawaki).
