The diary document Waldo Scmitt's work during the United States Navy Galapagos Expedition, 1942. Diary is enclosed with a typed copy. Includes details about supplies, contact information for colleagues, meals, interactions with Zeteks, lists birds observed, weather and environment while collecting on Coco Island, daily activities, and negotiations of facilities use and access with military.
