Abstract

The expense reports are from Waldo Schmitt's participation in the United States Navy Galapagos Expedition, 1941. Includes progress reports. They include are typed, itemized expense reports and handwritten notes that detail times, dates and modes of travel; destinations; and types and quantities of photography and specimen collecting supplies. Locations noted include the Canal Zone (Albrook Air Base) in Panama; Salinas, Ecuador; and Coco Solo (Mt. Hope).
