Abstract

This record refers to 2 field books created for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program Southern Island Cruise #6, in 1964 on Christmas Island. Envelope 1 contains a field book by C. D. Hackman from his work on Motu Upua, Cook Island, and Motu Tabu, Christmas Island. The field book includes bird species lists; bird counts, and banding data (listing band numbers 514-77118 to 793-43301). Envelope 2 contains a field book by Paul W. Woodward from his work on Christmas Island. The field book includes nest counts; bird coloring descriptions; and banding data (listing band numbers 524-04001 to 793-44004).
