Abstract

This record refers to 3 field books created for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program Southern Island Cruise #6, in 1964. Envelope 1 contains a field book by Paul W. Woodward from activities conducted on Baker Island, McKean Island, and Enderbury Island, October-November 1964. The field book includes shorebird counts, banding data, and nest counts. Envelope 2 contains a field book by Alan H. Anderson from his work on Gardner Island and Phoenix Island. It includes bird counts and banding data with band number, sex, and age (immature, chick, etc.) Envelope 3 contains a field book by Paul W. Woodward from activities conducted on Phoenix Island, Gardner Island, and Sydney Island. The book includes insect lists and descriptions from Gardner Island and Sydney Island; banding data; nest counts; bird counts; and physical descriptions of birds.
