Abstract

This record refers to 3 field books created for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program Southern Island Cruise #6, in 1964. Envelope 1 contains a field book by Richard W. Merrill with data collected on Baker Island, McKean Island, and Enderbury Island. The field book includes bird, nest, chick, and egg counts; banding data; and physical descriptions of bird specimens. Envelope 2 contains a field book by Fred C. Sibley with data from Baker Island, McKean Island, and Enderbury Island. It includes egg counts; nest counts; and banding data. Envelope 3 contains a field book by Fred C. Sibley with data from McKean Island. It includes 2 short lists of banding data for Fairy terns and Red-tailed tropicbirds.
