Abstract

This record refers to 3 field books created for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program Southern Island Cruise #6, in 1964. Envelope 1 contains a field book by Alan Anderson with data collected on Howland Island, Birnie Island, and Christmas Island. The field book contains nest, egg, and chick counts; banding data; and plot population estimates. Envelope 2 contains a field book by C. D. Hackman with data collected on Howland Island and Birnie Island. The field book includes banding data; and bird, chick, and egg counts. Envelope 3 contains a field book by Charles R. Long with banding data recorded on Howland Island and Birnie Island.
