Abstract

This item refers to 4 field books by unknown authors, from the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program Southern Island Cruise #5, 1964. Envelope 1 contains a field book with banding data and nest and egg counts from work conducted on McKean Island and Howland Island. Envelope 2 contains a field book with data collected on Baker Island and Howland Island. The field book includes banding data; nest, chick, and egg counts; notes on parasite collection from birds; and observations of birds in flight. Envelope 3 contains a field book with one list of banding data for banding activities conducted on Howland Island. Envelope 4 contains a field book with banding and returns data from Howland Island.
