Abstract

This item refers to 3 field books by unknown authors, from the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program Southern Island Cruise #5, on Malden Island, Hull Island, Phoenix Island, and Enderbury Atoll, in 1964. Envelope 1 contains a field book with banding data (listing band numbers, sex, age of bird, and eggs); and a list of bird and nest counts. Envelope 2 contains a field book with travel notes; notes on parasites found on birds; and bird, chick, nestling, nest, and egg counts. Envelope 3 contains a field book with banding data (listing band numbers, sex, age of bird, and eggs); bird, nest, and egg counts; and some colony counts.
