Abstract

This item includes Perrygo's itineraries for field trips to collect bird and mammal specimens in the mountainous states Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina from 1936-1940. Localities include: Shady Valley, the Great Smoky Mountains, Big Frog Mountain, Little Frog Mountain, Clarksville, Holston Mountain, Edisto River, Chatooga Ridge, Standingstone Mountain, Caesars Head Mountain, Sassafras Mountain, Bradford Mountain, Pee Dee River, and Wayah Bald. Carleton Lingbach accompanied Perrygo on his 1937 field trips in Tennessee.
