Abstract

This record refers to 3 field books created during work for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program on Johnston Island in 1969. Envelope 1 contains a field book by Philip C. Shelton that includes field notes with bird observations; seal observations; bird counts; egg measurements; and banding data (including band numbers 535-13515 to 933-65417). Envelope 2 contains a field book by Philip C. Shelton that includes chick and egg counts; and bird banding data (including band numbers 615-19284 to 943-93676). Envelope 3 contains a field book by L. N. Huber that includes banding data lists, some with coloring notations (band numbers 587-92334 to 993-22000).
