Abstract

This field book was created by Ralph W. Schreiber during his work with the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program, 1968, on Johnston Island. The field notes include observations of flocks and birds in flight; observations of bird and chick behaviors; and bird counts. Birds mentioned include Sooty terns, Brown boobies, Wedge-tailed tropicbirds; Red-footed boobies, and Great frigatebirds.
