Abstract

This record refers to 3 field books created during work for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program on Johnston Island, 1967-1968. Envelope 1 contains a field book by Philip C. Shelton, with notes on vegetation; bird counts; nest counts; and banding data (listing band numbers 535-13553 to 933-99553). Envelope 2 contains a field book by Ralph W. Schreiber that includes banding data (listing band numbers 535-13567 to 933-95137); bird, nest, and egg counts; and general notes. Envelope 3 contains a field book by J. P. Tordoff with nest observations; autopsy data; and banding notes and data (listing band numbers 753-20590 to 933-81309).
